plates are harder than you think. they aren't terribly difficult to throw, but they are very easy to ruin. all sorts of things can go wrong. flopped rims, cracking, warping... basically anything that you can think of that might mean a future Eating Disaster. I mean, if you are going to eat off them.

this one though? it's perfect. that's why it has a halo.
